  1. Darling Mum, you have been taken from us too soon but I am comforted by the thought that you are with dad now.

I will miss our ladies that lunch and days out that we had since we lost dad. It was so lovely spending time with you and you always made me laugh by posing in a silly hat or oversized glasses when we went shopping.

You and dad were the most wonderful Grandparents to Charlotte and Emily and I couldn’t have continued to work without your support. You were a big part of all our lives and although you spoilt them rotten, you have helped shape them into the wonderful women they are today.

We will miss you so much but I have so many happy memories from my childhood and from the many family get togethers with you and dad. We will live our lives knowing how lucky we were to have you both in it.

    Love you mum ❤️

  2. It’s funny to call a family member, especially one that is so much older than you a best friend but that’s what my Nan was to me.
I’ve never known someone to be so unconditionally loving and caring to her family members, especially me and Charlotte, who she doted on. We really could do nothing wrong in her eyes.
Her cheeky humour made us laugh daily and her smile was adorable.
I love you so much little Nan, I’m so so so grateful for all the moments we got to spend together and I hope you and Grandad are up there bickering as we speak.
    Love from Ems ❤️

Dad and his beautiful British humour. Mum always the lady filled with love even laughing at Ann’s and my silly jokes and mum’s laughter was contagious. This was a honour and privilege to be part of the Welchman family. Love Hilda Alan and family 💟💟💟
