Maureen was very important to our family. She was someone who gave so much.
We shall always be grateful to her for taking our parents Chris and June Brown under her wing, when they became old and frail. Her daily visits cheered them up and for them were a lifeline.
Maureen was kind, loyal and thoughtful. She was also great fun. I remember Maureen and me taking my father along the Wareham tow-path in his wheelchair. The three of us ended up in fits of giggles trying to get back through the mud without tipping him out of the chair.
Maureen will be missed by us all.
Maureen has been an integral member of our family for many years. My children remember her for always being there during their childhood always making visits fun.
Maureen was a very kind and giving person
She gave much of her time visiting and helping people
She made the last years of my parents lives in Wareham so much better by her bright, breezy and happy nature.
Owe will all miss her very much 💖
We will miss you.
Loving memories,
Pete, Philip, Nigel, Caroline, Luke & Richard
Maureen has always been a part of our family. Whilst growing up, she was always there at family gatherings, big and small. We used to enjoy rather raucous card games on the boat, bellringing at Lady St. Mary’s, shove halfpenny and a few healthy debates at The Mill. Maureen also loved a good chat, even when I last saw her a few months ago, she did not stop talking! Maureen, you will be dearly missed.
I have fond memories of Maureen. She was always so friendly and caring. I loved her funny and cheeky side too! I remember her being active and frequently sailing with Grandma and Grandpa.
I also remember Maureen for her love of animals and especially her Labradors. More recently she told me of a couple of little birds that would sit on her doormat in the summer waiting to be fed. Maureen had a kind soul.
You will be missed Maureen
Lots of Love x
Maureen was always a big part of our family and I couldn’t think of a more kindest and caring lady to be my Godmother.
I can remember our days out on the boat with Grandma and Grandpa and all the family.
She will be missed by everyone that knew her.
Lots of love

Maureen was very special ; Maureen was my mums best friend and aunt to her three children and God mother to my older sister.
Their friendship endured the test of time from preschool years onwards, distance was never a problem with visits to Wareham where Maureen would always play a major part; Maureen also visited us in the north and when travel was more of a challenge they met in London or chatted over the phone.
Maureen was always kind, compassionate, friendly and full of fun; she always saw the funny side of events and it was always fun to hear Maureen and mum chat about their day trips, outings, dance attendances and other antics.
Maureen’s love of animals , especially her Labrador s was infectious but I can also remember pinky and perky the goldfish which entertained us as young children.
Maureen would talk about her family and how close they were but for us family also extends to the bestest of friends, we will miss you loads but know that you will be up their with your many family and friends reliving the good old days.
Rest in peace and shine down on us to feel the warmth of your love shine upon us.
Much love Clare, Jane & Ian. Xxx
