  4. I count myself very fortunate to have worked with Merv for many years when he was the Plant Engineer at Purbeck Sports Centre.
    He was hard working and very capable – he could (and would) turn his hand to anything that was required. He was also very popular with literally everyone, being the most friendly, helpful and kind person that you could imagine. And he had a wicked sense of humour!
    A gentle man and a gentleman.
