Monique, I can’t believe you were taken so quickly from this life. You had an amazing zest for life and so much energy. You were one of my best travelling friends and I’ll always treasure those great memories. I’ll really miss you. Rest in peace. Ruth
Dear Monique, you will be so sadly missed by the people of Wareham. You were such a warm and kind, elegant and effortlessly glamorous lady and Jim’s finest champion.
So so sorry to hear of your passing. Warehsm will be a duller place without you..

We feel so very blessed to have known dear Monique as a wonderful friend and second mum to Matt and Sarah and have so many special memories of the children growing up together, times at the beach, canoeing, swimming, trips in the camper van, celebrating Christmas eve, weddings, Jim nights dancing with Monique .. and much much more!
Monique’s strength, directness, joy, warmth, kindness, creativity and thoughtfulness are a wonderful example…..Your door always open with a hug, chat and cup of tea waiting!
We love you all!

I was so sad and shocked to hear that Monique has passed away. I met Monique at The Green Dress in Wareham and Carole kindly put me in touch with Monique to help me alter a dress for a special occasion.
When I went to her house Monique was charming, professional, interesting and generally a delight. She did a marvellous job. Whenever I saw Monique around in Wareham she was stylish, vibrant, kind and funny.
I am so sorry for her family.
I didn’t know Monique at all really but she came once to my French Conversation class where she talked enthusiastically and added spark to the conversation. My husband and I live nearby and so we would sometimes see Monique. She always struck me as a stylish, vibrant person who had a zest for living. It was a privilege to attend her Farewell Service at the church today. Thoughts and prayers with the family as they adjust to life without her.
Monique, you have left your mark on so many of us over the years, a sad loss to us all. Thoughts and prayers for Jim and family.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Monique’s passing and my heart goes out to Jim, Yann and Pascal. I have many, many fond memories of Monique as an endlessly kind and lovely person through all the time I spent hanging out with Yann in particular through the Purbeck School years and before. Sending my best wishes and condolences.
We will miss you so much Monique, but have all the wonderful fun memories of days on the beach, exploring Purbeck, adventures with you, Jim and the boys, chats, shopping. You were taken too soon!
