  1. I would dearly love to express my absolutely heart break of the loss of Nadine but the very special love of my very unique friend, come sister,
I cherish the birthday get togethers we had , I remember them despite the usual drunken state we used to get to! But we held a special bond of friendship despite in later years the distance , when I moved to USA and then Australia and Nadine to France we still managed to meet up when I was back in the UK.
I was so happy to be able to attend her wedding and see her so happy in her marriage to robin . I will carry forward Nadine’s positive attitude and her caring nature , and I will always try take a positive and caring Nadine attitude with me and always raise a glass of vino on our special August birthday .
Love to all chris and Margy syrett

  2. i wanted to express my absolute sadness at losing you.
We spent many a night over dinner and lots of wine putting the world to rights, the wine ran out before the conversation!
We have always met for wine and chats, from the early Bow, Battersea days through to Honfleur, Dubai and Gerrards Cross and then finally East Coombe.
You never forgot my birthday or that of my children, they loved the cards signed by Monty particularly- we miss him too.
I on the other hand was not as good at remembering your birthday but you always forgave me- I should keep a list by my phone like you have always done, you were so well organised and thoughtful.
We embarked on our journey of friendship way back in 1991 at GOS and have nursed togethervon PICU at St Mary’s more recently.
You have always impressed me with your nursing abilities, I hope the “N.A.D.S” nutrition assessment screening tool that you were developing will be your legacy to improving children’s lives.
I have had so much pleasure of being part of your lovely exciting life that you lead -you encouraged me to travel the word after one such drunken night as you had so loved your Australian adventure.
    You were such an inspiration.
You have given me so much joy and wisdom, I will miss your wise counsel.
I do however feel very privileged that I gave you something back!
My meeting Robin on a ski trip nearly 20 years ago and the subsequent birthday party I invited you both to was my biggest gift to you!
I have felt honoured to have been intrinsic in your happily married life.
My children and I will miss you dearly.
Love Cathy T, Max, Alicia and Zoe xx
