I know Richard from my life. I know his family so well.. we always hang around, camping and outing. Richard is very good man and gentle to everyone. I missed his humour. Especially his number 1 to 10. The only two is 6 and 7 change to uu and hm. Never forget him. Sleep well, gentle giant.
I have known Richard since I was a little boy and would say Richard is very friendly and very kind person and always happy person and he will be sorely missed and never forgotten and rest in peace in heaven with his wife Sonia god bless kevin hill
Such a kindly, gentle man. Welcoming and supportive to Sign Language students at the Deaf Club and elsewhere. Very fond memories of long conversations with Richard behind the bar. Holding you all in our prayers at this sad time.

Richard was such a great friend of mine for over 65 years and I have lot of great memories with him from playing darts, football and going on holidays, we had such a laugh and were even best men at each others weddings. Even although I moved to Scotland Richard and I never lost touch we still met up when we could and more recently talked a lot on whatsapp face call. I will really miss my best friend, he was the kindest, friendliest and most generous man I have had the pleasure of calling my friend. My sincere condolences to all of Richards family he was one of a kind, hopefully he will now be at peace along with his wife Sonia.
So sad of Richard’s passing. He was a lovely, warm-hearted man who had a great sense of humour. He was also a very kind man.
I’ve known Richard ever since I was little from being at school with Paula and himself and Sonia always made me feel welcome whenever I came over.
You will be very much missed.

Richard was a fine gent, and a lovely man, so glad I finally got to meet him at Rita’s surprise 70th birthday. My love and thoughts are with you all, his dear family.
