John,
You were a true Dorset county Gentlemen, full of fabulous local stories and historical events. You taught your Grand daughter some marvelous local sayings, and a few tricks which i hope she will treasure and pass on to her children in time.
T’was a true Grandfer moment
Rest in Peace John

Dad
So many happy memories that you have left us with. You always said you had a good life and were happy and content. You’ve taught us so much, and I’m glad to have inherited your kind nature and good temperament.
I’ll always cherish my memories.
With love always

Grandad,
I miss you coming over on Saturdays bringing Mars Bars and yoghurts, saying ‘alright then young Richhhhh!!’ In the most broad Dorset accent you could imagine.
Now you are are peace. I will see you again one day.

Grandad,
You’ve taught me so much and given me so many great memories to look back on.
I’ve experienced things with you that I’m sure not many people can say they’ve done such as plucking pheasants, climbing hay bales and shooting rats ( or trying to!) You made sure I’ve grown up a true country girl 🙂
I hope that you’re in peace.
I’ll miss hearing all the stories that you had to share

Grandad,
I have so many great memories with you.. all the cracking barbecues you put on during summers, the massive pumpkins you used to grow for us every year, climbing hay bales on our walks up to the field, all our Christmas’s in your bungalow, and going up in a hot air balloon!
You were a fantastic grandad and great-grandad! We’ll miss you so much, but will see you again one day.
Love Rebecca and Isabella xxx
We were privileged to know John for 30 years. He always had a good story or two, and had a lovely angle on life. We can’t think of anyone more connected to the countryside and it’s customs than John.
Calling in on John was a treat, and always a bigger treat for our dog! John you would instantly become his best friend.
Thank you John for your friendship and humour. That will always be with us.
