  1. Simon was a most kind and engaging individual who had time for everyone. He was always a source of fun and laughter and he will be hugely missed by all of his many friends.

  3. Simon was warmhearted and full of fun! When we first met we were new to Swanage. Simon welcomed us with open arms, including us in his legendary social events at the Sailing Club. Always with an ear to listen and full of great stories and advice. We will so miss Simon! Love to Kate and the family.

    Phil and Karen Dowdell
  4. Sending our love to you Kate, Martha , Bertie and all Simons children and wider family.
The world always felt happier when you had spent time with Simon. I have been supported by his care and concern and entertained by his humour, a game of tennis became so much more fun when Simon was on court .No more Swanage street corner sessions putting the world to rights .He leaves a giant hole.
We will both miss him enormously.
    Jane and Richard

  5. A brilliant neighbour. Our thoughts are with you Kate, Martha and Bertie.
    With love

  6. My oldest friend from Salomon days – an enormous pleasure to have known you old chap.
Best wishes to all the family

    Julian Baker
