I have known Sharon for many years and when Terry entered her life she was very happy her grin from ear to ear was because of him… finally she married a wonderful caring man who made her laugh. Thank you Terry for being the man you were for all the good you have done x
You will be missed by many
Rest in peace x

Could not agree more with the Strouds -never seen my Sharon as happy as she has been with Terry. – and the ear to ear grin!
Terry has left a big void, a loving, generous, husband, lover, and bestest friend to Sharon. A generous, loving father to Maddy. I am proud, very proud that to Terry, I was Aunty Mary, and I too can speak of him as a kind, generous Gentleman.
Terry is now in a better place, Terry no longer suffers and for this we must all be thankful.
Sharon and Maddie, you may be in a dark place just now – but PLEASE remember Terry as he was, remember how much he loved you and KNOW that he would not want you to be miserable. Grieve – you have to grieve and cry if you want to – but then remember Terry, REALLY remember Terry and all the lovely memories you have , will be flooding back and drown the ache.
I have known Tery for a short while – yet this man is someone I will never forget nor want to forget, Terry – a man in a million. Thank you Terry for all you have done .
Aunty Mary
Terry was both a friend and good colleague of ours at HMP Elmley for many years before he retired. He was the most genuine guy you could wish to meet, who was a devoted family man and husband to initially Maddison and then Sharon and her children. He had so many extended families with the work and connections he formed over the years with his football coaching and rescuing work that the world is definitely going to be short of one beautiful soul. He’s going on to be the guardian of the rainbow bridge for sure and will be the best welcome for all those who enter after him.
Rest easy friend xx
I first met Terry when I was 19 years old, fresh Into the prison service. He was confident, knowledgeable, talented, kind and caring towards his team. We would have walked through fire for him!! He became a mentor and a friend, always offered a listening ear and gave the best advice. HMP Elmley was a little family unit. He always talked about his daughter Maddie and how proud he was of her. I remember hearing his stories and seeing how happy he was when he met Sharon – his life was now complete! Terry, I will never forget your sense of humour or that cheeky laugh of yours. Thank you for so many great memories but most of all thank you for just being you.
Sending all my love to your family. RIP Boss xx
