Dear Tony, we SO miss your sense of humour, cheerfulness and the love you showed to us. You will be sorely missed. Much love Janet and Kenny xxxxxxx
Tony was our first Pop In Place Treasurer when we opened in 1996 he and Rose were regulars at the Community Cafe’s .
I have a lovely memory of Tony leading a nature walk with many of our young families and telling them all about butterflies and insects.
He was so pleased when I told him that my son was going to be a Country- side Ranger.
It was a great morning when we held a fundraiser in Memory of Rose Tony’s wife and Tony made a heart felt speech, and we also made a fantastic amount of money for Macmillan.
Latterly Paul and Tony attended the Bere Regis History Society together, Tony was always keen to contribute to the topics as only he could . Rest In Peace Tony
Dear Tony will miss our chats in the garden we certainly had some laughs may you now sleep tight love Pat and Karen x
Tony you will always be missed
Our friendship will go on forever not just this life time.
Tony a 12 year old whiskey will always carry your memory, and if anyone ever puts coke with whiskey may the lord strike them down. When you were around life was always a little better, I don’t feel a message here could really sum up how high a regard myself and many others thought of you. Take care in the next life and may our paths cross again.
Dear Tony
You’ll be much missed for your cheerfulness and your incredible knowledge and interest in the natural world. You always shared your sightings of butterflies with us, popping a little note through the door is we were out.
We’re honoured to have been your neighbour, and so pleased that we have a few lasting mementos of yours that we’ll take with us when we’re out birdwatching. We’ll raise a thermos to you!
Love from Eleanor and Jim xx
Tony you will sadly missed.
Even though we only saw you occasionally we will you and your jolly smile.
Rest in peace Tony.
