  1. So very sad we have lost such a lovely man. Sending my deepest sympathy to you and his family at this very sad time. My dear friend RIP. ( Steve from Sailability)

It is with great sadness that our dear friend Trevor Dunesby passed away peacefully on 29th December in his care home in Ferndown. Trevor had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s a few years back and managed it well but having had a bad fall last year breaking his hip and shoulder he had recently moved to Amberwood House Care Home. Trevor had been involved with NFS as a volunteer for many years, he really enjoyed sailing as a skipper and was eager to help with maintenance work. Our deepest condolences go out to Trevor’s partner Sally and his family. ( Steve Kitson)

  5. We are both so sad and sorry to hear of Trevor’s death .
Trevor always loved a good natter with us girls on reception and in the kitchen on a Friday ,we were all very fond of him .
The last couple of years when he was too poorly to help out he still enjoyed coming to the club and sitting outside with a cuppa and skippers etc would stop and talk to him .
We both send our condolences to Trevor’s family,
Trevor you will be missed ,we will miss your welcoming smile .

  6. I have very fond memories of Trevor, in the earlier days as a fellow skipper. But latterly Trevor used to ask me to take him out sailing as a passenger. He was lovely.

  7. Sad to hear the news of Trevor. The last couple of years have not been kind to him. I will always remember how he took the time to sail with me when I was learning, another nice guy gone.
