So very sad we have lost such a lovely man. Sending my deepest sympathy to you and his family at this very sad time. My dear friend RIP. ( Steve from Sailability)
It is with great sadness that our dear friend Trevor Dunesby passed away peacefully on 29th December in his care home in Ferndown. Trevor had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s a few years back and managed it well but having had a bad fall last year breaking his hip and shoulder he had recently moved to Amberwood House Care Home. Trevor had been involved with NFS as a volunteer for many years, he really enjoyed sailing as a skipper and was eager to help with maintenance work. Our deepest condolences go out to Trevor’s partner Sally and his family. ( Steve Kitson)
Another sad loss.
RIP – Chris Wales
Bless him, he was such a lovely man, many happy memories volunteering beside him – Sue Cobb
How very sad indeed. Trevor was such a lovely man and will be missed.
Very best wishes – Anne Farge
We are both so sad and sorry to hear of Trevor’s death .
Trevor always loved a good natter with us girls on reception and in the kitchen on a Friday ,we were all very fond of him .
The last couple of years when he was too poorly to help out he still enjoyed coming to the club and sitting outside with a cuppa and skippers etc would stop and talk to him .
We both send our condolences to Trevor’s family,
Trevor you will be missed ,we will miss your welcoming smile .
Ian and Jenny Stockdale
I have very fond memories of Trevor, in the earlier days as a fellow skipper. But latterly Trevor used to ask me to take him out sailing as a passenger. He was lovely.

Sad to hear the news of Trevor. The last couple of years have not been kind to him. I will always remember how he took the time to sail with me when I was learning, another nice guy gone.

Such a nice guy and such a shame that he became
so ill. He was always a gentleman.

What a lovely guy. I, among many others, will miss him, he has been part of Sailability for so long. My condolences to Sally and his family – Mags R
That is sad news. Trevor was a delightful man and had been a part of NFS for a very long time.
He battled on despite his Parkinsons and always enjoyed his time at NFS. – Angela C
Remembering such happy times spent over the years. Those pub walks, just us adults and then with children, sometimes taking the wrong turning, sometimes getting lost. The parties and barbecues. Yearly weekend away to London to see a show and embracing London life. How we looked forward to those get always. That’s how I want to remember you Trev, a good friend and more so to Colin, your once upon a time flatmate. Rest in peace x

I will always treasure the memories of the happy years we had together, and bringing up our 2 lovely girls, Gemma and Claire, who you were so proud of. It’s been terrible seeing you get so ill. You are at peace now Trev.
With love Sue
Thinking back to the happy years we had, when John and I used to come and visit you and the family.
Sad to see you so ill at the end.
With so much love for Trev. Hope you are having a drink with Mum and Dad. The Thompsons xxxx
