Trevor was always such good company, with a great sense of humour. Iwerne was a holiday home to us and with his usual sharp wit he referred to us as ‘the travellers’.

To Trevor’s family: I’m so sorry for your loss. Trevor was a good friend and I’ll really miss him. I remember we used to call him Mr Grumpy when my kids were small and we used to impose ourselves on him and Jill for a week but he was always very generous and kind. After Jill passed away we used to meet for lunch and he always liked to reminisce about Jill which I think gave him some comfort. RIP Trevor x
Trevor, you will be sadly missed, I had the greatest respect for you as did many others. We will all miss you on our little “get togethers” but those meetings will carry on in your name.
