The bright light and colour of Wendy can never fade. Her individual, unique talent, style and personality will be missed greatly but her imprint on the world is pressed as firm as a lasting footprint. With deepest sympathy and love Sarah Peters
Wendy touched all of us. With one of her paintings in our dining room, she will never be forgotten at the Naidoos.
I enjoyed Wendy’s company so much. We had some wonderful poetry sessions together. She wrote so beautifully and I aspired to be as accomplished as her. I loved talking about art with her and seeing what she had on the go in her studio. She was so full of energy and ideas even after her stroke. She was an amazing person and I am so glad to have known her.
Dear Wendy, we will always keep your seat warm for you at PiP! Wherever life is, there you were. Hope you know now “what if feels to be free”. Ever grateful for your warmth, spirit, ideas and colour – you were always an artist’s palette in human form!
Ever loved, Helen P xx
We first met Wendy when on holiday here in the early 80s, at Punch and Judy on Swanage beach, and I have a lovely photo of her showing a puppet to my little boy. She became a valued friend when we moved down. I have one of her children’s books which will soon be just right for my little granddaughter. The lovely legend which is Wendy lives on. My deepest sympathies to Tony, and to the ongoing generations of Wendy’s family. With love . . . Tereska Roe
