Dear Sir,I am sending you this e-mail as Ihave been looking for ,what I believe,is this gentleman,on and off ,for quite a few years.My dad was in ww 2,stationed in burma, Istill do not know what he did in the war but he survived and brought home some items with him, that wound up with me. One of the the items I found was a small box with numerous bank notes from all over the war zone, mostly china,japan, Germany etc.As I continued to admire these notes ,i found a 10 shilling note with williams full name and address scribbled on it.I NEVER THOUGHT Iwould find anything about william ,but the good old internet may have done it for me.if this is the same person,could you at least find some family that I could send it to,please(the year han written on it was 1944.-oct 23rd.-Iwould appreciate greatly if you could help me out.Thank you for listening
