Covid-19: Overall Update
Coronavirus Update
Dear families of Douch Family Funeral Directors,
In my generation of Funeral Directing, I can honestly say that the speed, breadth and depth of this latest global Covid-19 virus is like nothing else I have ever experienced.
Douch Family Funeral Directors has served your community for over 11 decades and we stand ready to help you now. During this time of uncertainty, we will remain open and our experienced, caring staff will continue assisting families during this critical time.
Our hearts and thoughts go out to those infected by this virus, and to those whose lives have been temporarily changed due to the recent changes affected by Covid-19.
At all our branches, the health and wellbeing of our families and our staff are our top priority and I wish to assure you of the diligence of our approach.
In this time of uncertainty for everyone, our branch managers in each of our establishments have personally committed to your safety and that we will support families and friends during their time of loss. May I thank you in advance for placing your trust in our teams, during this difficult time.
For those visiting Douch Family Funeral Directors
While the Covid-19 virus requires all of us to be more mindful as we go through our regular activities, rest assured that our funeral branches are clean and safe. Our protocols cover handwashing hygiene, cleaning products, safety equipment and common area cleaning procedures. Please phone the branch prior to visiting to reduce waiting times and contact with other families.
Making Funeral Arrangements
If you have recently lost a loved one, or wish to discuss a pre-arrangement, our teams are here for you. If you are unable to plan arrangements in person at one of our funeral homes due to travel restrictions, health concerns or any other reason, our caring staff can help you make the arrangements virtually, ie over the phone, via email, Skype, FaceTime or by the good old fashioned Royal Mail. Every situation can and will be accommodated.
Thank you
Losing a family member or friend is never easy. We are aware that these unsettling times can amplify feelings of grief and anxiety. Please know that we are here for anything and everything that you need in order to honour your loved-one, support bereaved families and help begin the healing process.
The safety and well-being of you, your family, your friends and our staff is of the utmost importance. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact us on telephone 01202 367 307 or via email [email protected]
Yours sincerely,
Nick Douch
