I was saddened to hear this news. It was always a pleasure when Great Aunt Ruth came to visit Canada. Me and Evie were very grateful and happy that she and Philip attended our wedding, which was 8 years ago today as I write this. I hope all are do well and our thoughts are with you.
Condolences to Philip and Robert. We enjoyed spending time with Aunt Ruth the last trip she made to Canada. She will be missed by everyone here. Sending our thoughts and hugs to you both.

Our sincere condolences to Phil and Robert. Auntie Ruth was a very kind and caring aunt to all of us. The many times she visited and I was able to visit England, we had many good meals, a whole lot of laughs, and our side trips both there and in America were so treasured. I am so grateful to have known her. Of course her and I shared the same birthday. Love to all. Angela, Ted and the whole family.
Philip and Robert, I’m saddened to hear of the loss of your dear mother. Aunt Ruth will forever remain in my heart as a wonderful and gentle soul. I will cherish the memories of visits with her as she travelled from afar to spend time with Mom and family.

Dear Philip and Robert,
So saddened to hear of the loss of your dear mother. Aunt Ruth was a lovely person and I am pleased to share the same name as her. She had a very kind and gentle nature and I always enjoyed spending time with her. When Russell and I visited England in the year 2000 she was still driving and she took us on a number of sightseeing trips. We have very fond memories of those day trips to the many places we visited with her which always included a nice meal. Sending our love and heartfelt condolences to you both.
Philip and Robert I was saddened to hear of the loss of your mom and my aunt Ruth. She truly was a gentle and kind lady. When ever she came to visit it was always great to chat with her about any topic and she always left me with a different way of looking at things and life. The one that sticks in my head was the topic of dying. I can’t remember who was all in on that conversation in the room. Some one said what if you knew the day you were going to die ? Your mom said if you knew that you would spend your whole life worrying about it and never enjoy your life. I’m sure aunt Ruth enjoyed her life and the memories of her will stay with me forever. Take care of each other and hopefully one day we will be able to see each other in person again. All my love John

She was a very strong woman and I’m sure she saw many changes in the world in her 93 years, that most of us can’t imagine. May she Rest In Peace and reunite with uncle Mike . My sister Ruth was a strong lady and she never complained.
Even though I left England when I was 20 years old we kept in touch by phone and by our trips together. I often think about the memorable trips we took to Ireland and France.
Ruth was a generous person always ready to help the unfortunate.
I remember my sister with love and cherished the times we shared.
