Branch Manager

Elise joined James Smith Funeral Directors in 2018 after 4 years as an embalmer, prior to this she was an Auxiliary Nurse at Poole Hospital. Elise gained the National Association of Funeral Directors Diploma in Funeral Directing in 2023. In her spare time Elise enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, camping trips, reading and going for long walks.

Meet Mark Chadderton

Funeral Operative

Joining us in 2013, Mark lives in Swanage with his wife and two children. His main hobby is researching the life and works of Arthur Conan Doyle, but he also runs an online music archive, writes articles/reviews for a national music mag and pens CD & vinyl 'liner notes'. He runs a book publisher and 3 indie record labels, releasing both commercially and for charity – having donated over £25,000.
