Independent Funeral Directors
Serving Dorset for over 100 years

Douch Family Funeral Directors are committed to supporting the local community across Dorset. We believe in the importance of building strong community ties and feel privileged to welcome members of the public to our events each week.

We reach out to community groups, charities or events that may need our help. In way of our time, expertise or sometimes in the form of sponsorship.

We run groups across Dorset, including knit and natter befriending groups, lunchtime clubs hosted at the local Royal British Legion, local bereavement support groups, as well as running our own events, such as the Douch Family 50+ Information Day.

Our funeral directors in Dorset also support many charities – including fundraising throughout the year for our ‘Charity of the Year’, which for 2022 is #Willdoes.

Take a look at our calendar of events for further information, times and locations. Alternatively, browse our calendar of events on Facebook, where you can register your interest and invite friends and family along too. For general enquiries, please give us a call on 01202 367 307 or send us an email at [email protected]

Charity

Our Charity of the Year
#WillDoes
We are supporting the #WillDoes throughout 2022. #WillDoes is a local charity that promotes any charitable purpose (including the promotion of education, physical health, mental health and social inclusion) and contributes financially to charitable projects for the benefit of young people in Dorset and the surrounding areas. Introducing young people to sports and other activities to help them connect and engage socially, rather than retreat to more insular gaming and social media pastimes and to develop coping mechanisms to help manage anxiety and emotions, increase self-awareness, developing trust and relationships.
