Dearest Bob
We send you our love and deepest sympathy on the loss of your beloved Jean. You were her knight in shining armour and made her life complete and happy. Thank you for all you did for Mum over the years and especially for your tender care of her in the past few months. We are so grateful to you and it has been a blessing to have you as a much loved family member.
We will be with you in spirit on the 29th and will have a sherry to toast to Mum … as she used to say “of an evening”.
We love you, Sandy and Steven xxx
Our heartfelt condolences to you and your family during this time of sorrow. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Much love Anne, Chris and Jenny Horton.
Our dearest, dainty, elegant Granny Jean
You are remembered with so much love, your contagious laugh, your bright floral dresses, your painted pearly nails, your rocking dance moves and your always graceful demeanor.
I am grateful for all the memories, overdosing on Mars Bars, brown rice holidays, rock candy, special gifts from across the sea every South African visit, hand written birthday cards.
May you rest in peace, you were a trooper ’till the end. Always in our hearts, I love you.

Dear Mum,
So much time spent around a dinner table, sipping on a glass of wine. This is how we will remember you. Always graceful, always quick with a smile. We loved the hand written cards and the thought behind it after you went to the UK. You will be missed.
Love, Norman, Caroline and Tyralee
Dear Bob and family.
Our heartfelt condolences. We just want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for loving and taking care of Mum over the past few months as well as for the joy you brought to her life over the years. Thank you for being there for her.
Love from all of us.
Dearest Auntie Jean
From when you first left your home in South Africa with Uncle Murphy, and came to live in Wareham, we have so many happy memories of you. There were so many lovely times we shared and with mum and dad (Don and Sybil). Mum always said you were “the sister she never had”.
You were a true inspiration in the years after Uncle Murphy passed away, making a new life for yourself and your love for dancing, meeting new friends and especially Bob to share the rest of your time with.
Yours was a full life and a life well lived and we will miss you.
Love always
Our loveliest Granny and Great Granny Jean, you will be sorely missed.
We spent so many wonderful times together…in both South Africa and England. We’ve got such lovely, happy memories to smile about.
Sending our love to Bob too. Thank you for taking such great care of our Granny Jean!
