Lovely Thanksgiving service for a great man. Mike was our Vet & friend for many years; has saved many dairy cows for us, but one I remember in particular was a prolapse. The cow was in the field and had just calved but down with her womb on the ground behind her, Our hope we could re- insert while she lay there, she suddenly decided to get up so he and I had to carry the misplaced womb behind her till she decided to lie down again which luckily she did, after a rinse with some water it was all pushed back in and she survived . Mike had a great calmness & knowledge, time for everyone. He will be missed.
Please accept this donation from the Ramm Family of Corfe Castle in fond memory of Mike Ranger, highly regarded friend of many, especially in the farming fraternity. One of nature’s utterly genuine gentlemen, kindness personified, who really will be deeply missed – an impossible act to follow.
