Geoff and myself had many train spotting adventures that still hold fond memories. A good friend among the Sturminster Marshall fraternity. So sorry for your loss.
My oldest friend and many lovely memories. We kept our contact going throughout our 64 years of friendship. Those memories – trainspotting as youngsters being one and a walking trip around Snowdonia being another, and acting as my Best Man at my wedding. Also singing nights at the White Horse Folk nights in Swanage. Sleep well “me ole buddy”.
Many happy memories of working together at Bowmakers in all it’s incarnations. A lovely gentle man who was always kind & so excited when the girls were born as this broke the all male offspring line. Geoff even helped my husband Russ, with tracing his family tree as there was a railway connection!
With love & condolences to Bridget, Elizabeth, Julia and the rest of the family.
Geoff, most wonderful Big Brother. There is so much I could write here but you know how I feel. I am going to miss you so much. Rest easy & God Bless. With much love, Philip, Ruth, Robert, Megan, Eliot & Samuel xxxxx
Dear Geoff – our wonderful brother and uncle . So many happy memories of fun and laughter. You were always there for me as we were growing up and in later life for help and advice. We will love you and miss you always . You were the best a brother can be. Sleep well and God bless . With much love Michael,Rosemary,Nicholas& Lucinda.xx
Many happy memories spread over 35 years as a friend and colleague at Bowmaker Finance, ranging from stories relating to our love of steam trains to problems experienced with Austin Maxi’s. Geoff like myself really enjoyed acting as table hosts each December at the retirement association luncheons both meeting and reminiscing with former colleagues. I know that after Bowmaker he found his dream job working for he National Trust at Corfe Castle. So sorry for your loss.
So sorry for your loss of Geoff. What a lovely gentleman he always was.
Sadly we couldn’t make his funeral service but heard the bells ringing out.
All our good wishes for your peace.
John James, Denise and Lorraine (nee James) and all of our family. X
