To Sue and family
I’m so sorry for your loss.
I was Mick’s boss for nearly 20 years and it was a pleasure to work with such a lovely man. Highly creative and intelligent in his work and also kind and thoughtful to his colleagues. In particularly, he was always a great support to me, whether it was a work issue or just listening to me letting off steam – he was a great listener. I will miss him.

We feel incredibly lucky to have had Micky G such a very special man as our friend.
Eddie and Tessa
I loved working with Mick during our time at Raglan. Such a pleasure. He was a gentle man and a gentleman. Kind, considerate, thoughtful, clever, with a wonderful sense of humour. A ready smile and a twinkling eye. Skilled in the art of throwing a custard pie. More than once we laughed till we cried. One of the very best. Sleep well, my old friend. I will miss you.
I knew Mick firstly as a work colleague. He always had time for you and was kind and considerate with a wonderful dry wit. After we left Raglan we kept in touch and for the last 3 years or so met up regularly as part of a four for a game of tennis, and a good dose of conviviality. Andrew and I can’t be there on Thursday but will be thinking of you all, and especially of our dear friend who was taken from us too soon.
To Sue & Family
I’m so sad to hear the news about Mick. He was one of the kindest, gentle, funniest and talented people I know. Just a true gent. We played tennis socially for years and Mick brought so much fun and laughter to the game. Mick always had time for others and always had a smile on his face and a funny stories to tell. I am sorry I wont be there on Thursday but will be in my thoughts. I will miss Mick greatly.
In loving memory of a lovely Brother-in-Law, who will be missed by us so much.
Mick was a gentle person with so many good qualities, one of them that we loved about him was his relaxed, kind and easy going manner.
We are donating to both charities in honour of his support for Dorset Cancer Centre; as well as Purbeck Youth & Community Foundation, which he helped to set up.
Rest in Peace Mick. XXX
Absolutely devastating news. Mick was a true gentleman, who will be sorely missed by a huge number of people. Our thoughts are with Sue, Emma, Rachel and Sarah.
On behalf of everyone associated with Wareham Rangers Football Club, we send our condolences to Sue, Emma, Rachel and Sarah.
Mick had an association with the club going back many, many years, as a player, manager and more recently as Treasurer. He was a true supporter of the club and will be greatly missed by all his friends.
To Sue, Rachel, Emma, Sarah & all the family, my thoughts are with you at this very sad time…Mick was a great friend who I’ve known for over 30 yrs. We played football together, many times in the same team , and attended many social activities together, both supporting Wareham Rangers for many years. If ever you had a problem , in Sport or life in general, Mick was always a person you could turn & talk to, and who always wanted to help you. A great family man at all times, taken from us far to early… Mick you will missed by so many people…Rest In Peace my good friend, Pete, x
