As a family, we first met Jean twenty years ago as a neighbour to Edna and Ray. She was the best neighbour, very kind and friendly and there were many happy times with fun and laughter over a cup of coffee. In later year, she kept a friendly eye and we will miss seeing her tending her beautiful flowers. Rest peacefully, dear Jean. With kind thoughts and love to all the family, Edna, sons John and Pete, and Gill Xx

Jean I don’t remember the first time we met, however I do remember the chats we had about your life and growing up, and raising Karen. At Christmas, a card would always arrive. I also remember the knitted gifts you would send to your grandchildren. Once you put someone in your heart they remained there forever, just as your kind spirit will live with me. Bless you on this next part of your journey. Love Sheila and Jade XX
Offering our deepest condolences to Karen and family. Jean was a wonderful lady. Full of love and kindness. She will be missed by all who knew her. Much love Audra George Elicia and Justin.
A wrote a poem in memory of your Mom. I hope somehow it brings peace to you all.
A Mother’s love
A warm embrace
For us is ever true
Your smile, your laugh. Our memories of you
Will always carry us through.
I heard you whisper “it’s all fine now
Don’t worry anymore about me.”
For all you gave . I thank you Mom.
Your love I know will sustain me .
On my mind and in my heart
For you shall ever be.
Because just as much as I am of you,
You are a part of me.
Although your time on earth has ended.
It’s never the end for me.
For you left me the gift of a Mother’s perfect love.
We are bonded eternally.
Rest easy Jean….forever in our hearts xx
Karen
My thoughts and prayers are with you and all your family members on the loss of your beautiful and thoughtful mother
Jean. She took me on my first and only ride on the Swanage railway. I enjoyed visiting her when I left Canada to visit London
She will be dearly missed by me

Keeping the family in my prayers and thoughts at this time.
Offering condolences and sending love to your family. I know how much your mom meant to you. As we discussed I am sure she is with tea in hand and looking out for you all. Much love
Thinking of you and the kids today especially. I loved hearing stories of your mum, wish I had met her. Safe travels home.
Sitting in my garden, which Jean would’ve loved, listening to this perfect tribute and celebration of her life, I’ve been smiling and tearful at recalling my memories of my London Mum who put me up, fed me, proudly showed off her garden, shared a wicked joke and cuddled my son like one of her own – all on many occasions. Karen, I’m proud of you for sharing that beautiful poem – so apt, you did her proud, girl. Amber and Ava, she knew how much you loved her, I’m sure. Sending much love to you all, Alison ♥️
