I’ve read this and reread this and I don’t really know what to say, I met you when I was 14 and you have always been great to me don’t get me wrong you are also a miserable git and anyone reading this will agree. I saw you on friday and you said you were fine. Boxing day will never be the same without you. Thank you for everything you have ever done for me. Hopefully now you are up there having a drink with granny. Rest in peace Maurice. Xxx

Dear Matthew and Zeta, Our thoughts are with you both at this sad time having lost Maurice. Also to Rose and Alison. We will miss his fun and company.
Maurice you are one the most generous people I have ever known, many a good evening spent with you and you’re wonderful family. You could drink us all under the table. Thank you for introducing me to the world of Dorset.
RIP Estop senior
Rest in peace Maurice.
Condolences to his family.
Kind regards, from Madrid, Spain
Such sad news, I worked alongside Maurice @ The Farmers Arms in Apperley. I have some very fond memories of taking my son to work and Maurice whisking him off on adventures, whilst I worked.
A very generous kind hearted man, who lived to entertain. One of the best publican’s I have ever known.
My thoughts are with Matthew, Alison and their families at this incredibly difficult time. XX
RIP Maurice

Rest in peace Maurice, thank you for the great opportunity to be part of your team at “The New Inn” in 1998. Also thank you to Rose, Matthew and Alison for being so hospitable towards me and Monique. Your “Bouillabaisse” dish was amazing….Gone but never forgotten boss! With Love, Yolanda x
I’m very sorry to hear about Maurice’s passing. He was a lovely, generous guy who always treated me very well when I worked at the pub.
Dear Matthew and Zeta, I’m so sorry… First time I met Maurice In Kharkiv (Ukraine), in 2014. I worked at the hotel where he stayed. I told him about my school dream- to visit the UK. It was almost impossible to get the visa that days… And he said: “So why don’t you visit me?”… One year later he met me and my girlfriend at the Luton airport (he hates him, by the way), hosted us and showed the breathtaking places, introduced to his wonderful family and close friends… I can’t describe how much delighted I was. He made one of my biggest dreams come true. I will never forget you, Maurice. Rest In Peace.
Our condolences for the passing of Maurice. Such a lovely man and always had time to say hello when we come to the new inn. He will be sadly missed. Sending love to all the family
