It is with great sadness that I only now learn of dear Ben’s passing earlier this year. My father (Tom) was a good friend of his at Parkstone Golf Club. While it is almost 20 years since I last saw him with Jo (at my father’s 80th) I recall him well. From the golf games and of course in the bar. His rich voice, always full of laughter he was always very stylishly dressed man. His love for his family was often in our conversations. Proud to have known Ben, I send my deepest sympathy to his family.
Dad, more than three years have passed since you left us but your memory still lives on and you are so greatly missed. So pleased your final resting place got to be Parkstone Golf Club, surrounded by the people you loved.
