Dear Cathy, Lizzy, Jenny, and your families,
Sincere condolences on your recent loss
From the Christmas Day visits of long ago to the more recent reminiscences over a large glass of wine, Bernard was a one-off, a real character and a true friend.
Best wishes to all at this time.
Phil George
Dear Cathy, Lizzie, Jenny and families,
Wishing you strength and much love for tomorrow, I wish I could be there with you but will be watching online. Your Dad was very much loved. I fondly remember your Dad every Boxing Day (especially his Long John Silver impression with the parrot (that never seemed to sit straight on his shoulder, priceless!) as well as barbecues on Chesil beach. So much laughter and happy memories!
Lots of love

My condolences girls,
Bernie, (or Barnie, as I recall Pat calling him) was a great guy, and Dad’s best friend.
I always looked forward to New Year’s Eves round Kempston Rd, your dad’s brilliant pirate impressions,
the ghost stories, sometimes as a pirate, the great atmosphere…
He will be sorely missed but forever in my memories.
See you tomorrow, xxx
Dear Cathy, Lizzie, Jenny and families,
So many happy memories of Barney. He will be a very big miss. He was such a character.
We were so sorry to miss his funeral, but watched the service from afar. A beautiful service with family taking part. You all did him proud.
With sympathy and understanding.
Lots of love to you all.
Stephanie, Bill and Tania Hetherington
