Missing your cheerie smile & bravado
Thank you Dave for always checking in and for always caring enough. Sleep well old friend, you’ve earned a rest; even if it is much too soon. You will be sadly missed by everyone that knew you.
Fond memories of messing around with boats Dave, but could you let me know if heaven is full of boats that don’t need constant mending? Rest in Peace buddy.
Great memories of our yacht master training together all orchestrated by you of course. Thank you for your friendship and all your boating advice and support over many years. Rest in peace
You were a true gentleman; genuine, selfless and good humoured. Though you always seemed to be working hard and rushing to get your next job, you were never too busy to stop to offer help or advice, or just for a friendly chat. I was privileged to have known you. Rest well, my friend.
Dave
Thanks very much for all your help over many years with houseboats, motor boats and all things nautical. We will miss your cheery smile across the water. Hope the waters are calm and the sun shines wherever you are.
From all the crew of houseboat Bounty.
Just heard about this sad news. My family and I come down every year to waterski with Dave on his boat. Always helpful and full of enthusiasm for getting us on the water. You were a good Good man Dave, rest in peace. Deepest condolences to Dave’s family at this difficult time.
