With happy memories of cousin Delia
What a delight to see these wonderful photographs! So many happy memories of Delia amongst her family and friends and I can picture her now, smiling and giggling at the countless stories and jokes that were told. She was a truly beautiful person in every way and I feel honoured to have known her. All my love to the Aitken family.
A lovely selection of photos. I think this really shows the diverse person Granny was. Painting, walking, socialising and being an amazing grandmother, as well as being a doctor in a time where female doctors were very rare. It is lovely to see how happy her and Grampar were together over a long life well lived.
What a lovely service, and it was nice to see some more of delia’s paintings. I’m sure I remember the more modernist painting on our Christmas card oine year, I very much liked that one. With Love,
