I got to know Gillian, when the care home I worked in shut down and I was transfered to Elizabeth House.
She was so kind and welcoming when I started there, and though we only had short chats together in the morning’s before she went home, she always had time to listen?
When my brother had an awfull accident nearly 4 years ago, she would ask after him ?
And ask how I was ? That support helped me at a bad time.!
Sadly I lost my dear brother John in May, so know how hard it will be for you all.
Gill with be with you though ? But in a different way. Treasure your presious memories of her, They will always stay with you ! Like our memories of John.
