JB,
Us in The Cut Gate group will miss your cryptic messages and banter. Will also miss you on golf days and at Newbury. We’re all hoping we can attend Newbury later this year in person and raise a glass or two of horse’s neck to you.
We’re doing a sweepstake for the Grand National in your honour on Saturday, as we know you loved your racing so much. We have raised £100.00 for your chosen charities through this.
May God bless you and may you rest in peace.
Love always,
Bobby, Tracy and The Cut Gate Crew xxx

Hey Dr John
We’re sure missing you
Your knowledge was vast
Your humour was sharp
It’s all in the past
Now you’re playing a harp
We’ll think of you often
Although we’re apart
You’ll live on and on
In our heads and our hearts.
In our thoughts at this sad time.
Memories going back over many years of working with JBP at Chertsey Lane surgery and also watching our children grow up together.
Happy memories of horse racing
Lots of laughter and the odd cryptic comment!
Still remember filing all the letters at the surgery with the little scissor sign entered by John.
End of an era.
Elaine and Harry Gill and family

My love and thoughts with all in JB´s family. I am grateful to have shared many wonderful times with JB, a great man, brilliant sense of humour and zest for life, while being the brunt of his jokes most of the time which delighted him immensely, very fond memories 🙂
You’re all in our thoughts at this sad time. We all have such lovely memories of JB x
“There was movement at the station, for the word had passed around
That the colt from old Regret had got away,
And had joined the wild bush horses…..”
‘Banjo’ Paterson
jb – you’ve joined the wild bush horses now
‘Keep a fire for the human race’ is one of the many reasons you were alive. I was fortunate that our paths crossed on the ‘Via Medici’ – thank you, mfb.
My condolences to all.
So you’ve joined clough and shankly, bet they won’t get a word in!, It was a pleasure to share some great times with our children at Virginia Water , Your friendship and wit will always make me smile. See you in the boot room.
JB- you will be missed. I was lucky enough to work alongside you at the surgery in Blandford. You were always so upbeat and positive and spread that feeling to everyone you met. I particularly remember you rocking the double denim look at a GP educational meeting- the coolest guy in the room! Feeling sad, but honoured to have known you.
JB, we are so glad that you and Gill decided to move to Dorset and make your home across the road from us. We are honoured and privileged to have shared some great times with you and your lovely wife Gill, and wish you had been given more time to make more memories with us. We will keep making memories with Gill, and no doubt thoughts of you will be ever present and your name will often be on our lips! We will miss your unique mischief and merriment so much. Yo!
We Cannot believe John you went so quickly. Your memories at Chertsey remain alive: You may Rest In Peace and our sincere condolences to Pittard family;
