I AM SORRY TO HEAR THAT MY BEST FRIEND HAS GONE TO HEAVEN. JUNE WAS MORE THAN A FRIEND TO ME, SHE WAS MORE LIKE A SISTER TO ME . WHEN OUR HUSBANDS WERE HERE WE HAD LOTS OF LOVELY TIMES GOING OUT TOGETHER. WHEN THEY DIED WE SUPPORTED EACH OTHER.
I MISS HER TERRIBLY BUT WILL SEE HER IN HEAVEN

My favourite Auntie. We might not have met very often but we certainly kept in touch by letter. Auntie June was a prolific letter writer. My thoughts are with you all. Much love x
June was a wonderful friend to me and to so many Rainbows penpals. I am glad I had the chance firstly, to write to her for a few years, then to meet her at so many of our fun Get Togethers where most of the time, we never stopped laughing! Finally, we realised our dream and were able to move to the town of Swanage which was her home and it became ours too and because we were nearer, we shared many happy times having tea, chats and sharing news of our letter-friends. We will all miss you. Rest in peace Lovely June. xxx
