Mary was always cheerful and the way she coped with her illness was so brave. Thank God that she is now reunited with Roy and other loved-ones in God’s Kingdom of light and love. Goodbye and God bless you.
Margaret Ashby (school friend)
Mary’s courage and cheerfulness throughout her illness has been inspirational. In recent years we have been email friends and I will miss her so much. Despite her prognosis she gave me so much support through a recent illness. Much love xxx

We will all miss you Mary. Thank you for your inspirational courage and cheerfulness. Love xxx
Mary was quite simply the best neighbour anyone could hope to have. She was great company despite her illness all through lockdown, we were lucky to have so many sunny days for socially distanced chat on her patio. Her sense of humour and human insight carried us both through such difficult times. Good bye Mary all my family are missing you but glad you can rest in peace.
I give thanks for Mary’s life, shared as school girls many years ago and linked with others over the ensuing years. I will reflect on the courageous way she dealt with her illness. May she rest in peace.
