Dear Ron, Karen and all the family,
Sending you our deepest condolences on the sad loss of Mary and hoping that, in time, you will be able to look back on happier times spent all together. My husband and I felt immensely privileged to meet up with Mary several times during the past few years while living in Purbeck and to hear her warm recollections of childhood times spent with her cousins, Mary (my mum) and David Stainer.
We are so sorry that we’ll be unable to be with you on Friday, but will be thinking of you all and will continue to remember Mary fondly whenever we are visiting in Mary’s dearest Purbeck.
Best wishes,
Ann and Mike
Dear Ronnie, Karen and all the family,
A lovely service. We will not come down to the pub as David is not too well at present, but I’m sure you will all share many fond memories of Mary. She and Ron were always very welcoming to us, especially when we first came to the village over forty years ago. Mary was certainly an important member of the community. I remember especially the bonfire parties down at Becher she and Ron organised and the various ‘performances’ I joined her in at the WI.
Our condolences to you all
Lisa and David
