  1. Norman will always be remembered as ‘Steve’ of Witch End Cattery and loving husband to Jeanne. I never actually realised Steve wasn’t his actual name until a couple of years ago!
I will always remember him pottering in his pollytunnels and making soup from the veg he grew. He loved to feed his birds and would never slow down and give himself enough rest. Even at 91!
Both Steve and Jeanne committed most of their life to their beloved cattery and Steve was always working on it, well into his 80’s!
Still jet washing the roof until 5 years ago!
Their house and grounds holds many fond memories over the years.
To me he will be remembered for his stubbornness, sense of humour and wit. He was always very on the ball and clever well into his old age.
    You will be missed Steve.

  2. So sorry to hear that the amazing Steve has died. Back with his wife Jeanne now. My cats used Witchend cattery for many years and I have fond memories of Steve feeding the birds whilst Jeanne ran the cattery. True end of an era.
