  9. Mum, I couldn’t of asked for a better mother in law I’m devastated the only comfort I feel at the moment is that your now with Sarah ❤️ your infecious laugh was simply uplifting to any down moments we had, you took me into your family open armed and from the first day we met you made me feel so welcome, it didn’t bother you in the slightest that I had two children when I met Nick and you never once forgot them! Took them under your wing and included them in every part of your life, I’m truly grateful for this and it was all I ever wanted, then came along our Eddie Ron! It wasn’t the best start for him but again you held our family together with the support of dad (Jim). We had our girl Sienna and she is already missing your cakes! You loved watching her dancing and gymnastics in your living room, often you and grandad would say ouch how do you do that sisi , your grand children gave you so much joy and you were so proud of all of them, you were the most kindest generous women I know, we’ve had some great giggles around the dinner table you would laugh we would all start and not be able to stop!!! Keep smiling wonderful lady your with our Sarah now, goodnight love you always Rach xxxx

  23. On behalf of the Surfing Community and the Wessex Surf Club who new and loved Romey who will be missed greatly. Romey was always so warm and welcoming to the Surfing community when she, along with Sarah ran the Cafe at Kimmeridge, we only ever ordered one thing the Kimburger and chips which after a hard days Surfing was heaven to us along with Romeys laughter. Her kindness was evident when Surfers “forgot” their money, they would still get a Kimburger and pay next time, a morning surf followed by a Kimburger then another surf, was known as the” Kimmeridge experience” to us surfers, it just wouldnt have been the same with anyone but Romey,All our love The Surfers xxxx

  25. Our condolences to Jim and all Romey’s family.
We first met Romey when we went to Kimmeridge and called in for tea and cake at the Kimmeridge cafe.
The first thing you heard on opening the door was the laughter and then a big welcoming smile.
Sunday lunches were the best with Dorset apple cake and cream to follow.
Anne also worked with Romey at Williams the bakery in Wareham, so many laughs along the way.
On our days off she would say call in for coffee and cake at her house. Lovely memories of a lovely lady.
