Granny. You will be missed so much by so many people. You had a heart of gold and I love you so much. I’m glad your with nanny now so you best both be together making more memories. You will be in one of the special beds and places up there I just know it. Rest peacefully my dear grandma x

A poem for My Dearest Granny ❤️

Though your smile is gone forever,
And your hand I cannot touch
Still I have so many memories
Of the one I loved so much.
Your memory is my keepsake
With which I will never part
God has you in his keeping
I have you in my heart.

It is sad to walk the road alone,
Instead of side by side
But to all there comes a moment
When the ways of life divide.
You gave me years of happiness
Then came sorrow and tears,
But you left me beautiful memories,
I will treasure through the years.

Love you so much Granny, you were beautiful inside and out and will be sadly missed but never forgotten ❤️❤️

It was a sad say to hear of your passing,
I cried myself to sleep, the very next day I remembered the memories we both shall keep.

Goodbye Mum

Arrivederci, ciao call it what you may
Today’s the final farewell
The parting of the way
And as we watch you leaving
And your guiding hand departs
We mourn the silent passing
That gently breaks our hearts.

It’s hard to see you leave us
We wanted you to stay
But once you’d made your mind up
There was nothing we could say
To keep you here.
You closed your eyes
You did not speak
Your heart went still
You fell asleep.

But what you left behind, Mum,
Was much more than you took away
Your love and hopes and strength
And smiles,
Will be cherished every day.

I’m sure Dad and Lesley are waiting in heaven for you, so get ready for lots of hugs.
